Polyethylenimine Hydrochloride, Linear (MW 5,500)

Polyethylenimine (PEI) is a synthetic cationic polymer with high charge density and chain flexibility. It is the most widely investigated cationic polymer for non-viral delivery of nucleic acids. Linear PEI can be an effective carrier for a wide range of gene medicine including DNA plasmids, small interfering RNAs, and mRNAs.  

Polyethylenimine HCl, Linear, Mw 5,500 (L-PEI HCl 5500) is supplied as a hydrochloride salt for ease of handling and high water solubility.
