QuickView Antifade Mountant (Non-Hardening)

QuickView Antifade Mountant is a ready-to-use mountant applied directly to fluorescently labeled cell or tissue samples on microscope slides. It contains chemical components designed to improve the refractive index and protect fluorescent dyes from fading (photobleaching). These features enable sharper images and higher signal sensitivities during fluorescence microscopy. QuickView Antifade Mountant is glycerol-based, with no mixing or curing required, which makes it ideal for immediate viewing of the sample. QuickView Antifade Mountant is offered in a ready-to-use 2 mL dropper bottle, or 10 mL bottle. Just apply a drop to the sample, add a coverslip, and image.

Quick Reference Guide

1. Add 1 drop of QuickView Antifade Mountant onto glass slide.

2. Remove excess liquid from coverslip.

3. Place coverslip sample-side down onto QuickView Antifade Mountant on the glass slide

4. (Optional) Apply nail polish or a plastic sealant to edges of coverslip to secure it.

5. Clean coverslip and image.
