LongView Antifade Mountant (HardSet)

LongView Antifade Mountant is a hard-setting mountant applied directly to fluorescently labeled cell or tissue samples on microscope slides. It contains chemical components designed to improve the refractive index and protect fluorescent dyes from fading (photobleaching). These features enable sharper images and higher signal sensitivities during fluorescence microscopy. LongView Antifade Mountant is a curing mounting media with a refractive index (RI) of 1.46, which allows longer-term storage of mounted samples. LongView Antifade Mountant is offered in a ready-to-use 2 mL dropper bottle, or 10 mL bottle. Just apply a drop to the sample, add a coverslip, cure, and image.

Quick Reference Guide

1. Add 1 drop of LongView Antifade Mountant onto glass slide.

2. Remove excess liquid from coverslip.

3. Place coverslip sample-side down onto LongView Antifade Mountant on the glass slide

4. Cure for 8-24 hours at room temperature in the dark.

5. Clean coverslip and image.
